| Event Details | 2020 challenged traditional fine art values and brought art based on popular culture and everyday items into the mainstream. WestonArts announces a local multi-media call to artists for a juried art exhibition inspiring the viewers to celebrate the reopening of our communities. Cash prizes awarded. Jurors: Miggs Burroughs, Lisa Stretton and Agata Tria will lead us on this journey. Artists are invited to make this celebration extraordinary. All mediums encouraged. Contact: info@westonarts.org Weston Fine Arts Festival on School Rd, Weston, CT July 17 - 18, 2021 Saturday 10 – 5, Sunday 10 – 5 New juried Art Festival in the bucolic Town of Weston, CT. The location is inviting with tree lined streets leading up to the main campus where the show will be held. The venue is stunning and impressive. Plenty of parking and amenities for travelers visiting the show. Overnight parking and security will be provided. There will be a day before for setup and artists will be treated to snacks and morning coffee. This will be the Premier year for this event . All works exhibited must be hand made and created by the artist. The Artist must be present to represent their artwork for both days of the two day Art Festival. Weston Fine Arts Festival is a free community arts event. Bios, education and demos are strongly encouraged and free art materials are made available to inspire new young artists, collectors and patrons. All media is acceptable. Categories will be limited to ensure a well balanced show and a fair art market. All works must be juried in the category you are applying for. Violators will be asked to remove any un-juried work and may be asked to leave without refund. Please do not show additional media if you did not jury for that category as well. Each exhibitor is responsible for providing their own display , ready to securely hang or stand. You will be displaying on a flat lawn, under the WestonArts Tent. There will be Friday Set-up. You will be able to off load and load in, nearby, but you may wish to bring a hand truck. Security is provided from Friday and Saturday nights, you are at your own risk. Do not leave valuables in your booth over night. Overnight vehicle parking is allowed on site. The show is pet friendly to friendly pets.
